We are ready to begin the project! We need to: 1) Raise money to purchase land – $20,000 – 30,000 USD; and then 2) Design and raise funds for the building of the deaf home and school
There are SO MANY Deaf children in Liberia! This is a result of advanced stages of Malaria. And the Deaf and other disabled people are the outcasts, who are given little to no attention or help because their families are so burdened just trying to eek out a living (average Liberian family earns $30 per month!).
AMAZING GRACE AFRICA will be detailing here more about the Deaf School project as the plans are laid…this will be one of the projects we will work on for the September 2009 mission trip!
